Sunday Worship Services
Every week, we gather in the name of Christ to worship, learn, and encourage one another. Our Sunday services are at the heart of our church life:
- Sunday School – 10:00 AM
- Worship Services – 8:45 AM & 11:00 AM
Whether you’re an early riser or prefer a later start, both services offer a welcoming environment filled with heartfelt worship, biblical teaching, and community connection. Our services are led by Pastors Henry and Janet Elsea, whose passion for ministry and decades of experience continue to inspire and guide our congregation.
For those who are unable to attend in person, our 11:00 AM service is streamed live on our Facebook page, allowing everyone—near or far—to join in worship and stay connected to the Barren Ridge family.
Community Events
Although our much-anticipated Annual Yard Sale and Chicken BBQ took place earlier this year in March, our calendar is far from empty! We believe in creating opportunities for connection not just within our congregation, but with the broader Staunton community. From seasonal events and ministry-led gatherings to fellowship meals and outreach drives, there’s always something happening.

Small Groups and Bible Studies
